Well, on the topic of stars, it seems most astronauts tend to keep quiet. Here's three astronauts who have been bold enough to tell us how amazing the stars are in space!

haha 4:16 they give Armstrong a look like "oh shit! stick to the script man!" The body language alone should tell people something is wrong. Going to the moon and not recalling what you see all around you is like going to an amusement park and not recalling seeing the rides. The moon and a few of the brighter stars can be seen in the daytime from earth some days but from the surface of the moon with no atmosphere and no ambient light from cities only surface reflected light they can't? hmm.

@Damienf77 Yep...and the moons albedo is only 7-8 percent. So don't let em blow smoke up your butt! Anyone with any reasoning powers, can imagine how damn bright the stars are from the surface of the moon. Neil showed in that moment of bullshit that he has no idea what the stars look like from the moon. From my research, I'd say he never even went into LEO. All staged, no risk involved, sure win for the US, and free world. That is what Apollo was. All of them. Staged! No risk, guarantee

Thank you you are the first I find who put in evidence the Collins' situation. Cause He was orbiting the Moon. So, he could se stars as he remembered years later.

The roar was outside the rocket and disappeared completely when they attained the speed of sound.

The microphones were designed to pick up speech - not roars or vibrations.

I think Noah really tried to save some animals in his Ark. The rest probably swam ashore. No blueprints of the Ark can be found, so maybe it did not exist? :)

@sergemck The Apollo program from Apollo 18 onwards was terminated by president Nixon. Nobody really knows why, perhaps he thought that Apollo was president Kennedy's enormously successful project - and he did not like Kennedy who defeated him in the elections.

@BjornPalmen The US has not had a space launch vehicle capable of carrying an Apollo pay-load to the Moon from 1974 to the present day!

If the Saturn rockets were so good, then why was the factory making them, with its colossally expensive machine tooling, scrapped in 1974? It could have been easily moth-balled at minimum cost to await new space projects. Why have Saturn's blue-prints and specifications all disappeared?

Project Apollo was a concocted fantasy for gullible dupes like you!

This is a stupid video. There is no doubt that Apollo Missions landed six (6) times on the Moon.

The Apollo 11 press conference is OK. The audience is laughing and applauding.

It can be googled as "Apollo 11 press conference".

The astronauts did very well, even though they had no formal training in how to conduct press conferences.

The Mission is one of the most brilliant successes of all time.
