@RussianSpy75 Learn brazilian jiu jitsu, If you are a smaller kid, like i was, Brazilian jiu jitsu is the best way to defeat an opponent without having to use brute strength.

Does this technique really work for helping you work on bobbing and weaving as well as counter-punching?

@RaynardAlcamphor, i agree with you, boxing is a very good martial art,it is easy to understand

Boxing is arguably the best martial art for street defense, asides from the arts that specialize on it (ie Krav Maga). The fundamentals alone are all you need. Straight crisp, fast punches while staying on your feet constantly moving and being wary of your surroundings and other possible attackers, will, more often than not, leave you on top.

@RussianSpy75 highschool can be turned in to dirty fighing quickly with almost no teqnique and pure adrenaline resulting in 100% horribly thrown hooks and a headlock or two. boxing is a sport as well as an art, it takes more focus and patience. boxing will help you win a fight, but maa or some martial arts would help more with a highschool fight. Boxing is a sport of honnor and respect, as well as teqnuiqe and rules. there are no rules in a highschool fight. dont go in with a boxing mindset.

I really want to learn a fighting style like Boxing, a lot of arrogant assholes at High School I just want to know what to do in a situation that demands me to defend myself.
