J: what K: I’m calling the police (there was broken glass on the floor and some of the furniture was moved) J: ANGEL!?! (the police arrive before Brianna gets back) B: (runs up to the house) Police Officer: sorry mam no one is allowed into the house B: what’s going on N: (comes running out) it’s ok she’s my wife PO: ok you can go in but don’t touch anything B: Nick, what happened N: (he put his arms around her) Angle is gone, someone broke into the house B: OMG, maybe she just went on a walk N: her phone, Drivers license, and money were all still in her room B: (starts crying) what about Frankie N: he’s fine, he was asleep the whole time, he doesn’t know what happened PO: Excuse me N: yeah PO: one of our officers found this under one of the couches, does it belong to any of you (holds up a black ski mask in an evidence bag) N: no I’ve never seen it before PO: ok, we’re gonna be processing the house all night and it’s getting kind of late do you have somewhere to stay N: yeah (Brianna and Nick walk in the house and finds Kevin and Joe in the living room) (Kevin gets up and hugs Brianna and Joe is just staring out the broken window) N: Kevin go get Frankie, we’re staying in the new house tonight K: ok, I haven’t called mom and dad yet, should I? N: no that would ruin their trip to New York (Kevin goes and gets Frankie and they all go to the new house) (Joe still hadn’t said a word and was still staring off into space) J: you know Nick this is all your fault, you and that stupid new house, if we had been at home Angel would still be with me now K: Joe clam down, it was nobody’s fault, and she’ll be fine J: no she won’t, she’s probably dead by now F: (gasps) N: stop it, no she’s not and your scaring Frankie J: whatever (they get to the new house and eventually fall asleep) (the next morning the doorbell rings and Brianna answers it) PO: good morning mam, I am happy to say we have a lead B: that’s great PO: we found a brown hair in the ski mask B: well 7 of the 8 people staying in the house have brown hair PO: yes and we tested it and it doesn’t belong to anyone in the house and we also found a fake nail, did your friend have fake nails B: no she didn’t PO: ok, I’ll call you when we learn more (they lounge around the house waiting for the phone or doorbell) (a couple of hours later the doorbell rang) (Joe ran to the door) J: Miley? M: (hugs Joe) OMG I’m so sorry, I came as soon as I heard J: thanks, come in M: so Nick this is you and Brianna’s new house N: yeah M: It’s so cute I love it K: Miley, why are you here, no offence but we really just want to be alone M: oh I understand, I gtg anyway (waves goodbye) B: wait Miley did you get your nails done M: yeah, they’re cool aren’t they B: yeah but your missing one M: oh yeah I need to go get another one put on B: what happened to it M: It probably fell off when I was getting in the car B: that sucks M: well I gtg ttyl (Miley leaves) J: you don’t think that she had anything to do with it, do you K: why would she she’s one of Angel’s friends N: I think we should keep her as a suspect B: I’ll call the police officer (calls the police officer) B: hi it’s Brianna, you told me earlier you found a fake nail PO: yes, what about it B: was it like a florescent light pink PO: yeah, how’d you know B: well Miley came over and she was missing a fingernail PO: Miley, as in Miley Cyrus B: yeah PO: I’ll look into it but I don’t think a girl like Angel would be kidnapped by Hannah Montana B: thank you (hangs up) J: she’s been missing 14 hours and I read on the internet that most kidnapped people get killed in the first 24 hours K: that’s it I’m taking your laptop F: Is Angel gonna die K: no, Angel is going to be fine J: Kevin watch Frankie so Nick, Brianna, and I can go put up missing person flyers N: where are we going to make missing person flyers J: I already made them (holds up a stack of papers) B: ok, let’s go (They go around L.A. putting up flyers) (6 hours later they come back to N&B’s house) K: It’s about time you got back, Frankie is hungry and we’re going out to eat, do you guys want to come J: yeah sure (Joe sets down the new cell phone he bought to find Angel) N: what’s that J: well I had to put a number on the flyers and I didn’t want to use ours so I bought a new phone K: why don’t you bring it with you J: cuz I’ll keep checking it every 5 minutes N: yeah it’s better if you leave it here (they all start to leave when the phone rings for the first time and Joe answers it) J: hello Mystery Person: (disguised voice) is this the hot line looking for Angel J: yeah, who is this MP: just be quiet and listen J: (puts the phone on speaker phone) MP: I am not Angel’s kidnapper but I know who is J: who, do they want money, concert tickets, anything MP: just shut up and listen, Angel is fine, for now, she is being held at that old abandoned factory on Wilshire Blvd., hurry (MP hangs up)
