** FOR STEREO ** add &fmt=18 after the URL in the address box at the top of your browser. You should then, hopefully, be hearing it in stereo.

Or you can click on the link below but stop the current one playing first or you'll end up with 2 playing at the same time.

I've had an old copy of Propellerheads Reason (2.5 so no Thor) on my computer for a few years and I've just got round to using it. I'm just playing around here with lots of single hit percussive sounds that I've sampled over the past few weeks. I play them in the NNXT sample player and experiment with delays and see what happens.

All constructive criticism and advice welcome.

  • .I like it! i'm bad at drums.. thank God for drum samples..

  • Thanks Alex. Drum samples yes, but only single sounds put together in my own way.

  • missing sounds and bassline, check out my reasontracks

  • I know. It was just an excersise in percussion. Please feel free to take a stereo sample of the whole thing and add sounds and bassline to it. I'd like to see what someone with your musical imagination does with it. Your music is very interesting and I like your use of Malstrom like a vocoder. I would never have thought of that.

  • hello sir! quit and interesting track you got there!if you want, try throwing in a simple bassline in there, could be awesome! anyways keep up the good work!

    cheers

  • Thanks myrtorp. I did consider adding a bassline as it's crying out for one but decided to keep it as an excersise in percussion only. I can always come back to it later when I haven't got other projects I want to get on with.
