A really helpful guide, covers all the basics. Better than a lot of the rubbish you get on here!
I wish I had bought the bracket in the video now!!!

An excellent video! Fixing plasma TV to wall this weekend, and I am by no means a handyman. So viewing a few instructional videos to get different perspectives and tips.
Tips I thought were particularly great were 1. Using masking tape to mark bottom of TV on wall, 2. Determining eye height - image of line across middle of the screen was very helpful, and 3. Drilling pilot holes. (Though wasn't clear if you do this with plasterboard/wall studs)
Thanks for a very helpful video :)

@ClearlyAV sorry lol, it just looked odd..
what if the wall is made up of plastered CHB? how should we install it? tnx in advance

@vernyl26 - Depending on the size and weight of TV and what's actually behind the plasterboard, you can use drywall anchors (for light weight installs) or frame fixings (for medium weight TVs) or steel threaded rods and resin on plasterboard walls with breezeblock behind (for heavy TVs).
Sorry we cannot be more specific, but there are so many types of installation that without more information it would be difficult to say. The above three methods will cover most situations though.

@ProtoInferno
Not sure if that comment is particularly constructive, but in answer to your question we are a professional install company so we use industrial tools for many jobs. Yes, you can use a smaller domestic drill for the same purpose.
