The 1944 D wheat penny is the most common wheat to find because they made so many. 430,578,000 instead of the normal 190,000,000 or so. Need to get yourself The Official Red Book from Whitman. Thats the name, it is a US coin price and information guide. You can get it at most book stores for around $15.00
