@wuzuppe0ple I wasnt talking about fighting with another aikidoka and the might was a bit ironical of course they will :)

@aumenarys If the person knows how to fall right, then they will be fine in most situations. Also, might is not a good term when it comes to fighting. If you elbow or chop them in the throat, gouge the eyes, kick the groin, hammer the back of the neck/base of skull, and kneel on their face, they WILL be hurt. Not in that succession, but the actual strikes.

@wuzuppe0ple but if you do this in a fight they might be very injured ! Like broken arms and stuff! I dont think they will stand against you very long ! I can assure you :)

Amazing martial art, yet not quite practical. If I am in a fight, I don't want them to keep coming after me.

@FenixLites i agree completely, physics is the core of martial arts. But if physics were so readily applied, then training would be redundant. This links with your inferior/superior statement, as there are many variations of the same technique, what makes the different is their utility. True, one martial art may be better suited for one situation, but less effective in another. Example, brazilian jiu jutsu is excellent against single attackers, but less effective against multiple.

@Hidiho2u disagree on your statement of science won't win a fight. Most if not all of the most successful martial arts are so from the use of physics to their advantage. I also disagree on no martial arts being superior, I would say the context is what makes one inferior and another superior. It is difficult to examine them outside of context.

I like that slick-ass chop to the neck that looked pretty painful at 00:03

His randori is pretty good

That's amazing about aikido.Attacking your foe and protecting him or her from harm.
@B3nBo1194 i enjoyed your discussion with Padus, and i agree with you completely. No such thing as a superior martial artist or martial art. Science won't win a fight, training and experience will. Martial arts are like a mountain, and the different styles are like the paths; you can't describe them if u haven't experienced them, and sometimes if u struggle on one path, another might help you understand it better. A person who makes a mistake is not a bad person, just a normal one. :)

@D202116 Good Ukemi exists so that you don't hold back your partner. A blackbelt should be able to ukemi to these techniques.
