  • Good vid. Really considering this unit, one question would you buy it again or would you buy something else?

  • @BerettaM9USAF I'd definitely by this one again. Thanks!

  • does the 3120 model have the live stream data too? or obd1 capble? ...which one should i buy? they're both 300bucks

  • @alihassan100 If they are both the same price, buy the one with the most features.

  • This 3130 is a steal on Amazon.com for $129. i'm getting one shortly.

  • @LostInMadness220 I like the 3130, the best one is the one that suits your needs. It will read ABS codes. It won't read air bag data at all. Neither will affect the power train.

  • @outworldarts Do you think 3130 the best one? cheap compared to the others with live data, i tried the blinking once with a 91 s10 but is it the same with the rest, toyota, ford and so on. The abs is just the wheels and the airbags right will those affect the powertrain if something is wrong with the abs.

  • @LostInMadness220 Hi, you don't need a scan tool to read an obd 1 vehicle. You just need a paper clip and watch for the flashes on the CEL (check engine light). As is always the case, buy the best tool you can afford. Not all states requre abs to work for inspection, so it's a moot point for us.

  • this can be upgraded for abs feature for a 100 bucks, the 3160 already has it included. I think the 3140 might be the best one, sure it cant be upgraded for the abs feature but it has the obd1 kit, live data like the other two, what do you think?

  • thins scanner is a must a in mechanic tool box it will give you the code and then use their online to see what are the probable causes which is a plus...this thing is better than guessing and putting wrong parts in your car...
