why would you have a drill/driver and a hammerdrill/drill/driver combo kit ?

@man9170 It's a good question but Makita have gone and done it. Handy if you're a 2 man squad who needs to us the tools at the same time or you could give one of them away to someone who already has some Makita 14.4V tools.

yea it would be handy because it would save time changing bit all the time
