We start at Solvay yard near Syracuse. New York . We see the road freight making up his train and then getting underway. Thank's to my BB GPS, I cought him again at Auburn. Great shots of the x P&W B23-7 in the lead!!!in Part 2 Auburn to Senca Fall's. I almost cought him at Cayuga Lake but went the wrong way on sr90. I got a visual on him going across Cayuga Lake but could not find a place to park.

  • Man, what a chug. Gotta love those Super 7's

  • i love that throaty sound of GE's. AWESOME !!!

  • hey @sean70z do you know if finger lakes is still making trips to lyons?

  • Nice HD quality. Well done.

  • The B23.7 is cool but the lightning striped Geep is better!!!!!

  • how many tracks do they have in solvay yard, from what you could tell? is this where they interchange with NS/CSX? or do they go to Dewitt yard? i looked on my map and it looks they have a decent amount of trackage, thanks for the video!

  • The original NYC mainline still looks good to this day.

Been to Syracuse many times and only once I caught the Finger Lakes running in Solvay.

  • Just a correction, FGLK 2307 is a B23-7. Good vid though!

  • great video sean
