I found another version on YouTube that attributes the tune to Mozart who visited Lizard Lick, KY prior to his death. Sounds like a cool story. Great tune, Lew!!

I wish I could find tabs for Uncle Dave song's - I play guitar pretty good on what I know, but never studied music - so I always need tabs or at least chord names to look them up. if anyone has a pointer to Uncle Dave's (and frankly I have a lot of American folk I'd like to learn but the older it is the harder it is to find tabs - so old American folk tabs) - please mail me dani@3dsite.com - good work!
