@rockinrobintweets ...How do you know this to be true???

Lots of lovely girls named "Linda" in the 60's decade. Forget about the famous ones---plenty of beauties who were sung to by Jan and Dean! Linda didn't have to be famous and/or be considered a "beauty" --beauty is in the eye of the beholder--to be sung to as in this song!

Love it. Love all the oldies. Remember this song.

Always wondered if Paul ever did a version of this just for grins. It must have been novel to have been married to a woman who had 3 (counting both versions of this and "My Love") hit records written about her.

Great, this song was composed to Linda Eastman (Linda McCartney)when she was five years old. The song was a payment for a debt with Linda's father.
