Hello all, and Happy New Year! This is a trailer for a movie/series project that I've been working on for a while now. I'm using the Dragon Age: Origins' toolset to create an original machinima based on my own world and characters me and my friends have gamed with over the years. This is a collection animation, lighting, and character design tests, as well as using content created by the DA Modding community. I've had a lot of help from many people, and I am very grateful!
If you like this trailer, please subscribe and watch for more sneak peaks until the movie/series comes out, hopefully in the fall of 2011. Thank you very much for watching! ^_^

  • quite amazing! what video editor do you use? and how long did it take you to make this?

  • @Bloodsong13T

Thank you very much. Aside from my logo, (which was made using blender), everything in this trailer was created using the Dragon Age Origins Toolset. I created each scene and rendered them separately and then used Adobe Premiere Pro to edited them together. All the scenes in this plus the editing time took a little over a week. Sadly, though, I manage to lose all my data, which was months of work, so I don't know if I will finish this project.. :(

  • @Rokira

only one week!?!??! man, i did a music video from scratch it took 3 and a half months!! if you had months of work, that must have been a TON! :( did you lose the data in the toolset or database, or the final footage and all? that really sucks. :(

  • @Bloodsong13T

I lost all my data and mods that I was using. I had a handful of rendered scenes, most of them not completely done. But, I had a lot of unrendered cutscenes that I can't get back and an outside area that I created that I lost. I posted a vid of what was left to try and show what I was going for...

But, meh.... thems the breaks. I think I will work with the toolset again, but on a different story. Thank you for your kind words, they lift my spirits! ^_^

  • Awesomely done as always!

  • @mysticwalker2112 Thank you very much!! ^_^
