rich13k, Hi it sound like you have not performed the tip seal change corectly, when you put the 2 halfs together the tip seal fell out and slpit the groove wall. PS there is know stripe of metal holding the seal into position.

our XDS10 pump was horribly loud recently. we have just opened it and saw, that a stripe of metal, which holds the seal in place came lose. is theis any way to fix that?
