Do you have absolutely ANY idea what a totally ignorant question that was.
Okinawans had to defend themselves fron Japanese Samurai anyway they could--weapons were outlawed by king ShoShin of Okinawa -so the okinawans practiced with their farm tools to use them as self defense. They also used their bare hands (karate) Karate IS empty hand--unless you have a weapon--then you are using kobudo (weapons)
