That's not *all* that's unusual about Pauline... or has no one noticed that her dress is slowly disappearing the longer it takes Mario to get to her?
(And yes, having played this game back in the day, I can confirm that she will indeed end up nude if you take too long...)

Nintendo ported this game. My copy of the game was an "official" copy and it said "copyright 1983. Nintendo"
