Minnesota Twins infielder Brendan Harris answers questions from some younger fans during a Q&A session at Twins Fest in January. Hope you enjoy, and feel free to comment!
My apologies for the poor sound quality. Brendan is quite soft spoken (as were the kids!), and we were competing with national anthem tryouts as well as music blaring from some dance troop stationed next to us. Here are the questions the kids asked so you can follow along:
1. With the departure of Lamb and Everett, were you afraid the Twins were going to get rid of you? (harsh!)
2. What made you think you could make it to the majors?
3. Who is your best friend on the team?
4. How do players get their numbers?
5. Do you play any other position?
6. What is your favorite team to play against?
7. What do you get in trouble for in baseball? (harsh, again!)
8. What do you do, and where do you live in the offseason?
9. Why do you wear your socks up?
10. Besides the Twins, what other team would you play on if you could?
11. When did you start playing baseball?
12. What does it take for kids to play in the majors?
