POST HOLE BORER NZ STYLES
Home made 95cc post hole borer using Husky 395 power head and AS two man borer gearbox .
This is a letf hand rotating borer . ( 11 inch )
Note there is a hard layer in these holes and you can see the borer go down when it breaks through it .

  • thanks for your comment , yes i rederected the exhaust on the helpers side cause it was firing in his face lol , not nice , and yes we always wear hearing protection yah only get one set of ears , thanks again .

  • thanks steve , yes u can buy flighting in peices and weld them on a shaft , then a base and cutter teeth yes

  • @icelander1970 best to my knowledge its a ( AS motor ) gearbox dont think they make them anymore , brought it second hand

  • Very nice! McCulloch made earth drills over 50 years ago for their 2-man saws. The Husqvarna 395XP is an excellent saw in its own right. It sure is a heavy weight, which in this application is a good one. Good thing that the guys have got their "ears" on. Does the man on the helper end have any hearing left? I would think that an exhaust header pointing away from the crew might make their work day a bit more pleasant. Cheers!
