The 8-bit track playing behind at some parts was a very nice touch ;) Loving this remix. Although it could have used a little more loudness. Not volume wise, I mean like, instrument wise.

For a peaceful theme like this, 1:41-1:58 was too loud, and the 8bit sounds a bit unfitting, at least for me. That apart, this is TOTALLY great. The strings gave it a feeling of adventure at 0:37, like if you're going to west of Olivine City and exploring northwestern Johto, with the sea beside you. The drums at 1:59 were calming, like the ones that play in the Kakariko Village theme from Zelda Twilight Princess. That was the first thing that came to my mind on hearing it. ^_^

some of the acciacaturas on the main theme are a bit jarring, as they should only really be there on longer notes, rather than joiners. also, the third thing to come in and some other bits have some really clashy notes that are hard to listen to, and the mandoliny bit over the top in the 'chorus' i guess is a bit harsh, but i really dig the vibe/style your going for. it really works well.

@REGlROCK lol, sorry, derp on my part. I mean like, bigger instruments with more depth and umm "oomph" to them. And maybe one or two more layers of sounds.

But anyway, still sounds great as it is now :D
