Twixtor 60fps Test (Epic Slow Motion Video)

All the shots you see (except two) were recorded at 60fps.

The camera I used for this was a nothing special Nikon [insert model number here] which actually records 60fps at "720p." That's the setting I used, but the quality is absolute crap so I scaled the whole thing down to about 480p.
(actual dimensions are 864x486 to preserve the 16:9 ratio)

Most of the clips were slowed down to 0.5 - 2.5% of REAL TIME. This is how good twixtor is, in fact, if you speed it up to around 5% or one-eighth of real time, it can look really bad.
You have to get to know how twixtor works and what kind of footage will work.

I use T2i 60fps to record my video and the twixtor settings. i use motion weighted blend and Inverse with smart blend , is that what you use? , because i got problem with a detailed background, and yours have no problem with a detailed background, i need help! this is awesome btw :D

really the default settings are the best ive noticed.

And to fix problems with warping, slow it WAY down, to 2-10% infact it almost ALWAYS looks bad 20-40% sometimes.

Keep the subject farther away from the camera so they're smaller in the frame. That way the warping will be small and wont have to come up with as many pixels.

IMO best part was at 1:47 ! Don't know why but it looked so peaceful and fit the music very well. Twixtor is a great program. I know it was all from 0.5 - 2.5% of realtime but I don't like when it gets blurry :-P

@MoxxaN yeah it actually looks worse when its a bit faster, you really bad warping, it's more noticeable when it plays faster
