I built a wood stove to heat my house when i realized that i could not buy one big enough.so this one is big BIG i only fill it once a day when its really cold when its not so cold i only fill it every two to three days.

  • maybe you can help me, my wood burning stove work fine but this piece inside the stove that attach to the top with two bolts with some kind of frabric keeps falling. i dont know if its important or if it safe for me to keep starting fires. if you can help me it be most appreciated

  • @negima47 well it it the plate on the inside that covers the outlet?it it is replace the bolts the fabric could be fiberglass or asbestose!! be careful with that stuff if you need to handle the fabric wet it with water first.

  • enjoyed your video. i am having trouble getting the boiler temp up a range where its effect is felt: 65deg C/ 150F. this has been in the last 2 wks since the weather has turned from -5 C to '-15 & more. the wood/ trees were cut 6mths ago, then split & stacked 3 mths ago - so i'm not sure if they are dry enough either.
