  • not about technicality its all about flow and how fast and fun you can make it! Not sure I appreciate it as much now it's been redone. IMO they should of touched up what was already there and not totally redo it!

  • nope its definitely not worthy of its black status but it has since been redone and although i wouldnt call it black still there is now a rocky section in the middle of it that could be tricky to some people!

  • used the old standard def go pro, but now own a contour hd which is much better quality and design i personally think.

Degla has been destroyed a bit by people brakin gin the wrong places so although its really good it will be so much better once the black is closed and touched up here and there!

  • i'd defo recommend it, but not for the sound, i always have it turned into quiet mode cos otherwise its just rattling and banging the whole time, picture quatily is brilliant, best conditions being overcast as the camera has a lot less work to do.

We love the black stuff at degla, particularly this descent, not looking forward to them opening the new trails as the best black descent will be shut for a while due to maintenance.

  • llandegla trail centre in wales, part of the black route.

  • I went mountainbiking for the first time ever this summer with some Army lads and did the black run at degla.

The guys in this vid made it look quite easy but it's very fast and tricky in some places.

I did the MBR run at coed-y-brenin the day before and then this, awesome weekend.

    Great video dude.

Not sure about the music tho. Lol.

I've been to Cannock chase the last 2 weekends and the tracks there are wicked fun. Couple of tricky black sections there too and the inclines are not as bad as

  • Here's an idea.. how about all the people who say "It does'nt look like a black run" actually get off their fat arses and ride their bikes round Llandegla.

Cool video, music and quality Golfchick. I`m going to email the link to my mate who's never been. I must have been about eight times, four hour round trip but worth every second

  • Lol thats the tamest black desent ever

  • @MrBeaning Nevermind, found it :D

  • What is that song?

    I really have to know...

  • If that's a black run, their blues must be canal paths. Could be good fun though, looks like you could get down pretty fast but where's the 30ft tables!

  • Wat bike use got ?

  • Llandegla is awesome :) Went there on Tuesday and did the red route and that was fun, although it is closed in parts due to restoration. have done half the black before but didn't complete it as we ran out of time. Black run FTW! :D

  • The black run isnt really technical, but if you go on the red run then compare the two, its brilliant!!
