Yep, nothing like cold water crappies! I do have to say those are the whitest white crappies i have ever seen. The black crappies i have caught were almost all black sometimes. Anyways good vid thumbs up!

I catch 12-15 inchers out of 50 feet water suspended 10-25 feet off the bottom with plain hook and small shinner minnows and they are white like that, but they get their black color after laying on the ice for 5-10 min. It is wierd but I'm sure they are black crappie.

What do you consider to small to keep? Some of those would be just fine for me. Just asking not trying to start any fights. btw nice vid.

@fishwrangler97 here in ny the minimum size limit is 9" - although i keep some 9"'s i'd rather keep 10" and up - fillets are kind of thin on fish under 10"
