  • @117badassbuddy I'm not sure I follow the comment. You say social networks/technology makes people listen to top 40 radio?

I'd argue that technology and social networks have made music outside the scope of mainstream radio much more accessible for everyone. The physical restrictions are gone, there's nothing keeping a kid in Tucson from hearing an indie record from Brooklyn. Streaming radio sites like Pandora/Slacker are introducing people to new stuff all the time. Internet is good for music.

  • This makes me want to go and get drunk and run about with my friends, overthrow the government with them, then steal a rich dude's convertible and drive triumphantly into the sunset, along a massive highway, with my girlfriend. But she hates this song, so I'd probably have to listen to Panic at the Disco or some shit.

  • @nubetre

like everything in life, the internet too, is a double edged blade.

just as it can spread great music, independent, vintage or otherwise,...

it can also spread diseases like dubstep and j-pop.

  • @dakotagonz Going to hell for musical freedom eh worth it.

  • I bought this CD along with several others as a birthday present to myself. My mom is very religious and found them and threw them away. She said " Youll thank me later, I know you dont want to go to hell."

I said" If they dont have this music in heaven Id rather go to hell."

  • @nedsammy haha you need a new girl.

  • 1:20 - my favourite bit of the song
