1st of to be a firefighter,you HAVE to have a highschool diploma,
2nd,the academy is 19 weeks
3rd,we only make the starting salary of 32,000 dollars per year,(damn i wish 100,000)
4th,you cant have any felonys in the last ten years to sigh up to become a firefigher,
and i want to see you walk in a burning building ranging around 400 degrees with heavy clothing,and 100 pounds+gear

you be surprise we have a Honorary member in my dept and he is 3'6".he wanted to be a full firefighter but because of his size they made him a honoray member.
