Mike Augustine is an active volunteer with the MS Society of Canada and have been living with multiple sclerosis (MS) for the past 20+ years. Usually diagnosed between the ages of 15 to 40, multiple sclerosis is an unpredictable illness affecting vision, hearing, memory, balance, and mobility. Its effects are physical, emotional, financial, and last a lifetime. There is no cure.
Please show your support for all the champions who cycle countless kilometers to end MS by pledging a friend, family member or Mike Augustine, the "Virtual Rider" at https://msofs.mssociety.ca/2009bike/Sponsor.aspx?PID=1146078&L=2%20 -- your donation will make a difference, you will make a difference.
Mike - you rock! I hope your hands have recovered from high-fiving 1550 people on the Grand Bend to London tour. That was a really hard ride for me first day (first time as part of the tour too) and you said to me, "Have I told you lately that I love you?" when I arrived. I love you too, Man! And I'm sorry I hit your hand so hard... EXCELLENT MESSAGE!!! See you next year (I will be gentler with the high five...) <3, Rider #210 Red Shoe Crew
