  • Sadly, the prejudices against Catholics is still the last accepted prejudice here in the USA. God Bless you and may you persevere through the anti-catholic persecutions.

  • welcome home, funny how converts are always more appricitive of THE Church, than even most cradle Catholics, are you wearing your scapular? Saying your Rosary?make sure to take advntage of confession graces every week if possible, confess old sins if needed

  • sounds like you had many of the questions that I currently have (I'm a southerner, raised souther baptist, currently the worship leader for a nondenominational church w/ charismatic tendencies....ha! And I have lots of interest in Catholicism, but also many hesitations).

I appreciate your honesty and candor about how you dealt with family pressures.

  • I was a Born Again who turned Atheist and then turn Catholic.

I have to admit, turning Atheist helped clear a lot of confusion about the different churches out there.

I'm happy to be back home.
