is it possible to charge a battery that will give energy to all lights in the house for a day?
-
This is the future!!
If only power companies already had a pack that we could buy( including the dynamo and an attachment shaft or chain to our bikes), we'd attach it to our bike and off we go!
However, they're only concerned with a a fast dollar or fast euro ! Only Fast profit and not with a healthy green market economy!

@bicyclegenerator props to you friend......nice to see a practical energy device....really if you cancel the GYM membership and use the saving to pay for the machine.........then it sounds free to me.

@Mrjetjoe An electric motor can never run on what it puts out as so much energy is lost to friction, heat, and sound. You create a frictionless motor then you're in business. Similarly you could improve the energy output of the design in the video by running the generator off the rear axle not the tyre reducing energy lost through friction.

@yeayimawsome I did't whrite this. get a electric bike and see how much that puts out!

you should hoke it up to a treedmill and use a donkey or something
can i use this to charge a battery to then power my desktop?

@GnosisMan50 Yes you can charge a 12 Volt battery if you put a blocking diode in one of the wires from your generator. A cheap power pack will work from most department stores like the black and decker for $70 or the Duracell powerpack for $150. See my other youtube video lB4hXV2L7kU

you know they make bicycle hubs that do this?
schpoingle 11 months ago
@schpoingle Bicycle hubs don't put out near as much power as this stationary generator stand does. They can only do 25 Watts typically.

Not free really. Think of all the extra food you will have to buy!

@splotsplot A lot of people work out anyway so the food is not an issue. They already buy the food to fuel their work outs.
