@omid11 SR20 is more responsive to mods and is more reliable 4g63 has major rod failing problems.

@REPOMAN24722 Magazines are not good sources for real information, its just a way for some tool with deep pockets to show off cars they probably had someone else build for them. Come now... Really what would you expect to see in some magazine tailored towards the "JDM tight yo!" crowd? Japanese motors, duh.

@SpikeRazzor No one has the money but its easy to do if you have the money theres a reason why the top 4 cylinder engines are as followed (sources multiple magazines)
1. SR20DET
2. 4G63

@REPOMAN24722 Supposedly theirs a block that can handle 1700HP, but as far as I could tell no one has an SR20 with that block pushing that number.

@lordextravaganda Well for performance it is the best but not for fuel efficiency SR20DET's can get to 1700hp and are the most reliable 4 cylinder engines around.

@zepyoor1234 a KA24DET cant get to 1200hp like a SR20DET and if the KA engine was better nissan would put the KA engine in the 180sx and silvias
