The Lee fight (and the other enemies that do that) are the only fights were you can tattle your party members (Lakilester excluded) and he can copy Mario (by tattling Mario, Goombario gets confused)

I remember when I did this I accidently got perfect timing. You shoot the parasal at a guard and get him to notice you right before you transform and you get carried back at a guard! It is weird because they carry you and your standing up... and you dont need to use the passage, you can just walk out
