Dr. Carr - when finished, if the retainter does not fit the cast (too small) when cut down - and it was delivered to the patient who could not place it in without force - what went wrong. It's an essix C+. The patient complains of pain. Checking the essix on the cast, likewise also has to be forced on. Patient claiming the compressive force cracked his incisal edges and I'm concerned that it's possible as photos don't show any wear prior to debond and delivery.

Use antibacterial soap to clean these or drop them in a glass of water with the 3 minute antibacterial/baking soda denture cleaner tablets. odor will be gone. tooth paste clouds up the retainers since it has abrasives that can scratch it.

How do you clean it mine used to be clear white now it has a slight blue tint :(

These crack so easily. For me at least. I think I need to get I new one.
Clean with a toothbrush and toothpaste. I am wondering if the blue tint can be removed by a microetcher used in most orthodontic offices. Please ask your orthodontist at your next check up. I hope this helps.

Are you a patient of ours? Be sure not to put in hot water and the type of material this is made of will also determine it's durability.
