This video clip is about Bowlby's discredited theory. Dr Bowlby believed the mother, or the mother substitute, alone is important for child development. Research shows fathers can be equally as important as mothers and that children are best served by both parents,

What about mothers who use children against their dads?And the unjust courts do things like say to me( after i took sole care of my boys for going on 8 years) ok every other christmas you dont see them.Knowing she only saw then 3 times in the last year.Shes 150 miles away.Shes neglegtful.I have sole custody.Nice for you rich people who have a high paid lawyer we dont!

@evenToddlers this was 1951 not 2010 you have to think like the 50,s men were not so involved with childcare till the 70,s 80.s and were just looked on as monny cows or were the punishments were delt out..thank god things are moveing.

@pea8vey calm down mate this research isn't about you and its not written as fact thats why its john bowlby's THEORY of attachment and yes what happened to you could be used to evaluate it but the threory isnt set in stone
