@lvegtlvegt & @washed potatoes… Any updates on this? My nephew and I saw these lights on 12/20/2011 and are definitely intrigued. I’ve seen posts on the web that these were roadflares/balloons, but that doesn’t seem right. We also saw a combination of the white light potato mentions and the red lights in the video. Also, these were NE of Lafayette, they were more in the Milliken/Gilcrest area. Anything definitive would be appreciated!

One news network claimed the theory of stealth bombers. The man claimed that because the lights were in triangle formation, that they must be emanating from a triangular shaped stealth aircraft. Since when do stealth aircraft just sit in the sky though....
