Mr. Rick, just wanted to say, These videos are great! I've been working with my mare about if her saddle or saddle pad fall off while I'm getting ready to saddle and un saddle her. Just the way you showed us. Yesterday we were getting ready for a ride, I threw the saddle pad on and she shifted her weight and the pad slid off and fell down on the other side, and She didn't move an inch. She lifted her head and that was it.
Thank you sooooo much for these videos!

The only reason one should keep a horse out of a room with hay is so the horse won't eat it all.

It's true! the moment you go "nothing will happen" something happense EVERY TIME. My friend was riding her horse and said "My horse has never kicked out, and i've never fallen off of him before" and what happened that day? Her horse thought that the neighbors truck was a T-rex trying to eat him, and she was on the ground. Funny but interesting at the same time, because her guard was down, so she didn't look out for it.

"Buddy's butt" seems to be a common topic :p haha, great video Rick !

Wow, I have never seen someone go under their horse like that. Buddy is a very well trained horse and so is Mr. T! :)

It seems like working with horses is constant sacking out.

@Jamelith : true, but we label sacking out, the horse just see this has learning what is safe and how to control and deal with his fear. Experience is the best teacher so exposing the horse, allowing him to experience fear and fearful things, all teach him confidence, so he grows and prior learning makes later learning easier.

Has Mr T ever kicked at you? Just wondering

@PenguinPownage : Never bucked and never kicked at me or any person. He has kicked at other horses and dogs that attacked him with me on his back and I let him defend himself and stayed out of the way and out of his face.
