Again, rather irrelevant to the groove tbh. You can tell how the drummer+bassist are feeling it from the time feel in their comping - clearly going for 3/4. Becomes more apparent in the sung section with the cross rhythmic hihats too :)

sure 3-4 goes with 6-8, 12-8 goes with 6-4 or 3-2 and 12-16 only exists in theory.
