Catch the Buzz (Ep.4, Part 1 - 2009) "Biscayne Bay Bones"

In this episode of Catch the Buzz, Captain Jon wets a line with bonefishing guru Captain Joe Gonzalez. Captain Joe is not only a bonefishing legend, but he's also a major player in helping scientists gather crucial information about the gamefish. In fact, he is personally responsible for tagging over 1,000 bonefish for the University of Miami's tarpon and bonefish research program. One of which was actually quite groundbreaking. In this particular instance, a fish he tagged in Biscayne Bay was recaptured in the Bahamas. That one fish debunked years of traditional knowledge about bonefish habits and migratory patterns, and caused many experts re-evaluate their preconceived notions about this highly coveted saltwater gamefish.
