A few shots of my new LEGO American 4-4-0, finished just in time for the Tennessee Vally LEGO Train Club's summer show. Being my first power functions locomotive, and first time I've mettle with gears in my trains for a long time; I am pretty surprised it survived the whole 8 hour show without needing some last minute modifications. The batteries only started to grow weak by the last moments of the show, and the little motor giving life to engine didn't break a sweat pulling anything, even 7 Santa-Fe cars.

My next engine will probably be a Mason Bogie 2-6-6T, I've already got the gearing and drive rods ready to go.

  • in the edge of the screen at one part is the Emerald night with two coaches. how did you get the second one?

  • @JCSDisciple1 I'm part a lego train club, and at every show at least two or three people bring their Emerald Nights.

  • WEAR DID YOU GET THE SNOWPLOW??????????

  • @TakaNuva1111 It's called a cowcatcher where I come from, son |:\ . It's in set #7597 (Toy Story 3 Western Train Chase), along with 6 red driving wheels and a number of other useful parts for train MOCs. If you don't what to pay the 80 bucks for the set you can probably find the part on BrickLink, they come in both red and black.

  • is that made with parts from the new Toy Story 3 Western train chase set #7597?

  • @pennyf9 Mostly, but there are a number parts from my own collection to make things work.

  • Very nice, the coupler detail on the cowcatcher is fantastic! Wonderful work.

  • @MediaBoBanger HOLY FUCK THAT WAS FUNNY

  • Cool vid. Trains are cool. What's the difference between a teacher and a train? The teacher says spit out your gum, the train says chew chew! Heh :D
