This was 70 years ago. These dancers could wipe the floor with many of the dancers today. The energy, strength, flexability and movement is just amazing. Incredible piece of choreography.....

@woohooboy Yea, that's because then the leaders weren't putting flouride in the water, genetically modifying the foods, creating population reducing viruses, emphatically polluting the waters with oil, destroying animals and forests to extinction, plaguing our children with TV, video games, and fast foods, undereducating the educators, more concerned about getting their cocks sucked in the oval office, natural born citizens of other countries..etc..and you wonder why we can't do that today.

I'm out of breath just watching this.

Incredible, that through all that action, the girl still manages to catch her little hair scarf thing when it falls off at 0:44!

(Comment by youtube member CLEVERKIM) :- That's Whitey's Lindy Hoppers in the movie Hellzapoppin. They were a dance troup from the Savoy Ballroom in Harlem. The fella in the overalls is Frankie Manning. He choreographed this piece. Frankie just passed away this spring one month short of his 95th birthday. Thousands of dancers from around the world came to NYC to memorialize him. The only surviving member is Norma Miller, she's the one dancing with the chef.
