I wish that people would stop hating on this movie just because it's a remake and because rooney mara isn't smoking hot. Yes I have seen the original and it's a great film. That said, why is it ok for another Robin Hood and Jane Eyre movie every 5 years. David Fincher is an amazing director giving his own interpretation to an excellent story. This film is going to be amazing

For those that think that Rooney Mara isn't right for the role, according to the book, Lisabeth Salander is described as "a pale, anorexic young woman who had hair as short as a fuse, and a pierced nose and eyebrows. She had a wasp tattoo about an inch long on her neck, a tattooed loop around the biceps of her left arm and another around her left ankle. On those occasions when she had been wearing a tank top, a dragon tattoo can be seen on her left shoulder blade."

@jimon8998 I think to bring an amazing story to a bigger audience. You have to agree, most Yanks won't watch subtitled films, regardless of how good they are. Let Me In wasn't completely horrid too, so there is hope here. (It's not really as good as the original in Let Me In, don't get me wrong, but far from a crime)

Boycott it? Why??? Are there any laws being broken? No, I don't think so. Is it promoting hateful or bigoted behavior towards people? no. Is it a bad influence of children? Children arent going to watch it.
