Just in case anyone might be interested... If you are an Amazon.com Prime customer than you can watch this movie in HD streaming for free anytime. I just hook up my flatscreen to my laptop with an HDMI cable and, voila, instant movie! I watch this and Gosford Park over and over.

@cyberjack1021 I'd have loved it if they had done, but I very much doubt whether that would have ever been on the cards. Leigh's films are always made on tight schedules and small budgets. I think they simply couldn't have afforded to do so even if they'd wanted to. But it is a real shame.
