@laubeatz yes it hurts, and burns. got shot in the ear with a blank at kapooka, at night we were at stand too when the guy in my pit yells "1 ENEMY!" and turned and shot right next to my ear, its still partly deaf and i get ringing in it every day. but oh well tuff shit lol.

@MrBigshaggy I'm not really sure, i was just told by a relative that that was the statistic for a rifleman who is joining the army. I'm not really surewhich unit.

Im a 16 yr old Kiwi, been living in australia for around 7 months and i really wanna join the army specifcaly ADF because im in yr 12 this year so its my last year of school until TAFE etc. so im wanting to be in Reserves, but i was just wondering, would they be able to fast track citizenship??? cos a friend of or family is a border patrolman i think and he was in the nz navy and he moved here and he was in the aus navy and said they fast tracked his citizen ship, but this was back in 2005...

Yeh i just got accepted on the 5th on janurary. i saw 5 guys go in b4 and get turned away. They know who the want i guess and if they dont think your up for it there not wiling to give you the oppurtunity. What unit is this? Hoping to go to 6 or 1 or 2 rar.

You know only 1 in 20 applicants are actually accepted to become a Rifleman in the Australian Defence Force. That just shows that our military only wants the best.
