AVATAR Na'vi Jake Sully drawing progress

Done in watercolour pencils over about 5 hours? Also some parts I forgot to record, so you'll see jumps in the video, sorry.

very nice! i see you had to do several layers to get the dark blues so dark, was that a materials thing or a process thing??

@TheMCLand hmm, both i would say. when you add water to watercolour pencils they tend to 'fade'. and also i'm too much of a coward to just go dark for my first step

WOW,really cool!You are very talented!How much does it take you?And,when you put the shadows you make another blue color or you just add more black at the old collor?

erm, i think it took about 5 hours, i didn't keep track. i used both dark blue and black for the shadows over a few layers

WOOOOOW man all i can say is BEAST!!!...with one otha thing ur comment on how he looks a lil soft rather than fierce yea i wld agree tht but its still juz freakin AMAZING!!!
