@Perranporth It was SO EXCITING being a teen and part of it! I recognized EVERYONE on this clip. SLADE was my first concert, and they opened for Iggy! It was a wild ride, and NE Ohio had plenty to offer. Naturally, I had to move on to NYC . . . then England . . . now I'm "stuck" in Paris. Just visited Turkey, and was ASTONISHED by the pop music there. Guess I'm moving East again . . .

great stuff !! it should not be lost on people that Roxy was not just glam but they had amazing talent to go with it. They were the best of their time.

Wobei mich als Roxy-worshiper der dritte Platz schmerzt . Aber Roxy war ja mehr als Glam. Bowie auch.

In dieser Reihenfolge King of Glam:

3. Roxy Musik
4. Slade
5. Garry Glitter
6. Sweet
Roxy Music were great! I first heard of them aged around 6 or 7 in 79/80, and like that period for nostalgia. But since then I discovered their earlier period which I like for the sheer brilliance of the music!
