@JonneyTurbo65 My '64 Amazon has the original engine which was rebuilt once about 15 years ago and is still going strong. I've driven it over 3000 miles this summer and back in June I took her up 115 mph and kept it there for 10 minutes. The highest mileage ever recorded on a car was on a P1800 at over 3 million. These engines won most of the longest Rallies in the sixties and seventies precisely because they don't break down. I'm surprised that you've had such bad experiences.

@jefro3000 I'm going to have to disagree with you on that. efficient yea not to bad mine gets 30 MPG but i have also put 4 engines into that car and its not that i dont take care of my engines i do. they just dont last.... the V8 is an easy and cost effcient way to gain reliability and power.
