Gotta question, at 0.36 when you let off the excelerator what causes the turbo to
make the swooshing sound? I hear it alot on trucks that are soup up. I'm still runing the H1C on my 90 cummins .

@BigDan855 Well it's the boost pressure trying to spin the turbo impeller the other direction with a suddden loss of exhaust pressure to continue to spin the impeller. I have a HX35 on mine now. Mine surged too bad under a load with the h1c so this fixed the problem.

@cumminsdiesel1234567 So if there was a waste gate this wouldnt happen right?
My h1c sounds like crap so i'm looking for ideas for a replacement, did you use the same exhaust manifold? I like that idea of no wastegate would like to know how hard that was to do?

@BigDan855 If the wastegate was working, yes it wouldn't be such an agressive sound. The only thing I changed was the turbo itself. With the hx35 you have to move your downpipe back an inch or so. That's the only thing you have to change though.
