All these people seem to be saying really, is humans have to learn to police themselves if there's no god, and that they don't trust humans to do it; they need a deity to do it for them, and the thread of heaven and hell, or they don't think anybody will behave themselves.
They are children, clutching at mommy's skirt and sucking their thumbs; I'd rather be an adult who can stand up for myself and others without relying on higher authority. Humans can make their own rules without chaos ensuing.

I'm glad this clip was uploaded. Now I know that the Expelled movie is even more dishonest than even I expected.

You give a child bad childhood, he is gonna grow up bad and do bad things. that's why they say "they had a bad childhood"........

p.s. christ was a nazarene too-a very dark skinned jew .....old school....jew of jews......if hitler had the chance he'd off him.....
-
hitler also used the crucifix....at a number of entrances to the camps.....written below the plaque sometimes in more than 1 language read....the only good jew .....is a dead jew .....hitler twisted christianity pretty well....
-
you right i doubt it was but I think it was more the lines of kill the unbelievers. use them as slaves (concentration camps). They believed they were chosen by god and everyone else was unbelievers or infidels and therefore second rank humans. Hitler also believed he was doing the work of god revenging Jesus since it was the jews who got him killed.

i seriously doubt "love your neighbor as yourself" was used to brainwash nazis into killing jews....they might have used historical deaths pertaining to the 1ST. COVENANT...the "deads" we were refurring to earlier,....the divinity of christ?...that's one you have to figure out for yourself.....i was curious once too......after seeing with my own eyes...places like caesarea, massada, megiddo, jorda
n,jerusalem,cana... my faith is poppin.. i doubt i could ever "not have faith" again -
I agree... Brainwashed psycos, but what was used to brainwash them? they took the bible literally, and thats a huge problem because its not a factual book, it was never ment to be the truth or used at the truth the content of the bible was being voted in by a counsil who banned things from the bible that they didnt like, even a the divinity of Jesus was VOTED for. There were more gospels that were rejected than there was accepted... maybe the rejected ones were the true ones.

as many "deads"....no...but look at the span of the bible...the time spans longer than any other written work....what the bible dictatorially states?..which covenant the 1st or 2nd...slavery?..mankinds own ideals, obsession w/pride,greed,fame..but most of all mo money,mo money,mo money...the kkk&nazis?......hummmmmm auhh...brainwashed psycos?.......
-
well that ofcourse depends how do you define if a book is evil and how do you measure it? I would say the acts of the followers... Have any books or ideology in the worlds history every created as many deads as the bible? I mean everything from its begging with witch hunting and burning to stoning everyone that was just alittle bit diffrent from what the bible dictatoricly states. If you look at recent history then theres the entire slavetrading (inspired by the bible) the KKK and the nazis.

there are books that have been written that are Totally evil......the bible? definately not the most evil book ... has a little bit of everything inside.....-god speaking through jeremiah-"for i know the plans i have for you, plans to prosper you & not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" ...where's the evil in that?
These people offend me not because I'm an atheist but because I'm a human.
