This is great!!! I grew up in Decatur IL as did my fiance we are in AZ now, but we have our memories its great to visit & we love friends, family, and Kreckels, but we live in Tucson and it has crime, heat, bad drivers, its expensive, so the grass isnt always greener or perfect. Thanks for a trip back home when we are 1300 mi away homesick!!!

@wizzo194 You two have made my day! I have taken a lot of criticism for not showing the bad sides of Decatur and have tried to point out that everywhere one goes has problems - no city is perfect. I wanted to give some of the images we all share and love. Your comment tells me I did OK! Thank you! @BathroomRugby - I am 55 and loved growing up in Decatur - still have family/friends there. I lived awhile in Los Angeles-Decatur seems mighty fine compared to some areas there.The point is EVERYWHERE has it's problemsThe purpose of the song/video is to stop for 2 minutes & reflect on the GOOD there is in Decatur and maybe take the negative energy of your comments and try 2 make Decatur a better place.What can you do 2 HELP Decatur be a better home? Let's not criticize, let's energize!

I love this song, man. The history of Decatur is unbelievable. I've filmed so many things here (the Celebration, trains, train fairs, etc) it's awesome. I can't wait to see you perform this year, I'll be there up front filming you performing this song! :)

Huh? Seriously? I lived there for 35 years and was so glad I moved out. I have great childhood memories from the 70's and early 80's and then the town went to shit. Way too much drugs, crime, and dumbasses.

My fiance & I grew up in Decatur IL & we live in AZ we love the people & lots of the great food back there, but its sooo depressing economy wise & not as clean as it used to be. In the 70's /80's it was booming then it kinda fell apart. Love this video & Decatur is our hometown!!! Love to all in Macon County!!!

@arnybarn I think in order to make Decatur a better place we should simply walk over a rainbow. And then, when we happen upon another, we can walk right over that one too. If we just follow these simple steps in an endless loop, Decatur will change overnight into a Utopia.
