MDI is no longer an X-prize contender.
MDI hasn't bothered to say anything about their withdrawal on their website, but MDI has disappeared from the list of registered teams.
The rumor is that X-prize rejected MDI's business plan as not being a believable plan to go into at least small scale production in the next several years.

np problem, I've been interested in this car for a while and made a fan website about it.
only thing is that all my website information has to be updated because it's based on the previous model, not the one that they have at the 2008 NY Auto Show.
