How can anyone expect a team with a $75 million payroll to compete with a team with a $300 million pay roll? Per dollars spent each year. . the yankees. . . cardinals, braves and dodgers suck!!! Its because people actually go to there games, buy there tickets, buy there merchandise, and sponsers want to be at yankee stadium because they win all the time. so the yankees get money off of that too .
