I can't understand the motive of one human hating another human hate is such a strong word I may dislike people for their attitudes politics or how they treat their fellow man or woman in hurtful ways but I will still talk to them and treat them with respect unlike a lot of immature people with closed minds live with kindness and compassion in your heart. The human race need to adopt this attitude Harvey Milk was not perfect person but his good points far outweighed his bad ones.

...kinds of LEGAL MEASURES involving restriction of freedom of speech and the ridiculing of society's institutions.
The gay agenda is part of a political project, an effort of social engineering, and even if many gays have fallen for it, this agenda NEVER EMERGED spontaneously from grassroots gay circles.
It was all ENGINEERED, and 'gay culture' today -whatever that is- has been completely hijacked.

It's very simple: look at all the cooperation the 'fight for gay rights' has gotten from the start. IT ALL EMERGED FROM ELITE THINK TANKS, the entire process engineered by agents, the philosophy formulated by the Frankfurt School decades earlier.
Society's heroes are and have for centuries been CONTROLLED and the system generates a grand glorious narrative around what was simply mass manipulation.
Media and politics are all applauding 'gay rights', which basically boil down to all...

People are such suckers for 'martyrs'. It never occurs to them that you don't necessarily get shot for being such a great guy. Typically, the guys that get taken out simply know a bit too much, are unreliable or have fulfilled their purpose and the system has no further use for them...

Harvey was just a puppet used for purposes of social engineering. Society's supposed heroes are all controlled.
His grandfather was involved in setting up the 1st synagogue in Long Island and it seems pretty obvious Milks' career was guided by hidden hands from the start. He got his 16 year old lover a job with him while working for Barry Goldwaters' campaign and ended up in San Francisco politics because all the channels were opened for him.
A puppet, NOT a hero, EVEN if he was shot.

America is still a long way behind most of the world on equal rights for gays.

Oppression of any kind is always a struggle. Hate rots the soul no matter what your sexuality is. Although difficult at times, remember to smile to your oppressor for we will conquer despite adversity. We all die, but not everybody lives!

Harvey I remember that scary period of my life hiding who I was from my family.
Moving to the city and my freedom and my liberation from my parents who threw me out.
Late at night I think of you the people and the castro and the world you changed just by being honest and standing up for yourself.
You are not a martyr but a symbol of standing up for what and who you believe in and have lead the way in the darkness for so many gays and lesbians to live a life with pride and acceptance.

I struggle to put into words how much I admire and respect Harvey Milk: he stood for love, freedom and equality. Vergaedoce and other assholes like you are pathetic and full of loathing: I pity people like you.

@Vergadoce i am so glad they deleted your stupid comments whoever the hell you are .you are yet another reason why the world is the way it is and why there are so many assholes out here to disrespect an icon in society? whats the matter cupcake are you a closet queen too? people like you that mnake comments are the ones behind closed doors i know that but drop dead whoever the hell you are
Friends, this is not about gay or straight but about a man stepping up and making a statement for the betterment not only of his own people but for others as well. Martin Luther King did it for African Americans, Caesar Chavez did it for Hispanics. I am totally straight, but I have the utmost respect for what the man accomplished for what he believed in for himself and those like him. Like him or not, you have to respect what he stood for.

Harvey Milk is an inspiration to all walks of life. weather you are black or white, Asian or European you have something in you that is different than anybody else. when some one is gay that is what makes them different. Harvey Milk didn't just fight for justice amongst gays he fought for justice and equality for all the people that are different. he is my inspiration as an activist. I am not gay but i know many people who are. i never want to see them hurt by the conspiracy Anita Bryant created
